Cogmed Qualified Practice

Brainworks is a Cogmed Qualified Practice which offers evidence-based intervention for improved working memory. The Cogmed program delivers substantial and lasting benefits. There is a straightforward and research-based explanation for the mechanisms delivering the effects. The program challenges the user’s working memory capacity. The computerized, cognitive exercises are designed by neuroscientists to target this key cognitive function that has been proven to be fundamental to executive function and attention. The details of the exercise design allow the program to be very focused and yet provide slight variations.

Psychologist/Psychological Associate!

Position Summary
Brainworks is once again expanding our psychological services! We are looking for a full-time psychologist or psychological associate to join our award-winning team. A part-time position would be considered for the right candidate. Due to our growth, the position is available in any of the following areas: Huntsville, Muskoka, North Bay, Timmins or Sault Ste. Marie. Brainworks’ main office is located in Huntsville while consulting offices are available in North Bay, Timmins and Sault Ste. Marie. As a psychologist or psychological associate at Brainworks, you will be involved in assessments, counselling, and treatment in office and / or client homes. Collaboration with and consultation to a team of professionals is integral to the work we do.
