About Dr Clarke
Dr. Clarke has extensive experience in both assessment and treatment, having worked at some of the top rehabilitation centres in the United Kingdom and Singapore. She has experience with a broad range of neurological conditions including stroke, traumatic brain injuries, degenerative conditions and cancer. This experience has helped her develop specialist skills in neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation.
Dr. Clarke was drawn to this work early in her studies, after a parent of a close friend suffered a severe TBI. As she supported her friend, she saw the challenges the whole family faced when managing a brain injury. This led to her deciding to commit her career to this field and ultimately employing a broad, holistic and family based approach in her work. The most enjoyable part of Dr. Clarke’s role is witnessing individuals make meaningful change after many years of living with an injury. She finds it incredibly motivating and rewarding to be part of peoples’ recovery journey. Each workday she is inspired by her clients and is humbled by their courage in addressing their challenges.
When she is not working, Dr. Clarke enjoys being creative, whether that is trying a new recipe or crafting. She also loves to be active; since moving to Canada, she has taken up cross-country skiing!
