Prior to working in community-based rehab, Jeremy spent years teaching in various regions across Canada. Working with individuals of all ages and with varying needs and abilities has given Jeremy a unique perspective that allows him to set clients up for success, regardless of their background or ability. He creates a positive environment and believes that communication is key, and that laughter makes therapy sessions even more effective. His personal philosophy as a therapist is to help each client achieve their goals, while supporting meaningful activities that offer the client happiness. It is important to him that the client is satisfied after each session and feels like their time was spent productively.
Jeremy’s personal experience with brain injury rehabilitation inspired his career goals. He is passionate about brain injury rehab and finds it rewarding to support people during their rehabilitation.
Outside of his position as a therapist, Jeremy enjoys spending time with his family, reading, traveling, playing board games, swimming, and being outdoors. He is active in the community with both coaching and playing basketball.
